Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf deputy parliamentry leader of the National Assembly, Zain Qureshi resigned from his post.
Zain Qureshi said that the founder of PTI was, is and will remain loyal to his father and the party. The resignation was given to ensure a transparent investigation. It should be noted that Zain Qureshi resigned after receiving a show cause notice from the party.
It should be noted that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) issued show-cause notices to its suspicious members regarding floor-crossing in the 26th Constitutional Amendment. PTI issued these notices to members who were allegedly absent. The party gave the members a final chance by issuing these notices to allow them to present their explanations.
Among those who received show-cause notices were Senator Zarqa Taimur, Senator Faisal Saleem, Zain Qureshi, Riaz Fatyana, Muqdad Ali, and others.
