On Monday, Islamabad police arrested PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar Ali and Information Secretary Rauf Hassan at the party secretariat in Sector G-8, Islamabad.
The journalist’s mobile phone was also confiscated for recording footage of the arrest. The police have not disclosed the specific case related to the arrest.
The police also seized records from the PTI secretariat, loading them into vehicles.

The PTI secretariat raid, overseen by SSP Hassan Jahangir Wattoo, involved a substantial police force surrounding the PTI headquarters in Islamabad. The operation was supported by female officers as well.
The PTI has criticized the arrests, calling them politically motivated. Authorities have not disclosed details about the raid or the evidence behind the arrests.
