WEB DESK: Tragedy struck in Lahore’s Manwan area as two children reportedly died on Thursday after consuming noodles.

According to police reports, the deceased siblings were 11-year-old Maryam and 9-year-old Rafay. Their mother recounted that the children had purchased two packets of noodles from the Baghbanpura market. After preparing and eating the noodles at home, both children became severely ill.

The police stated that Maryam, the 11-year-old, passed away at home, while Rafay, the 9-year-old, died after being taken to the hospital.

Authorities are investigating the incident to determine the cause of the children’s sudden illness and subsequent deaths.
