Suzuki to launch Every minivan in Pakistan

Pak Suzuki is set to launch the Every minivan in Pakistan this September, marking the end of the long-standing Bolan minivan and Ravi pickup.

First reported in August 2021, the potential replacement of the aging Bolan and Ravi models with the modern Every minivan has been a topic of interest.

Although there have been multiple reports and confirmations from reliable sources, the launch had not materialized until now. The delay in replacing the Bolan and Ravi was partly due to the slow enforcement of stringent WP29 safety protocols, which were expected to phase out the older models by June 2022.

Despite showcasing the Every minivan at the PAPS 2022 auto show and generating significant interest, Pak Suzuki did not proceed with the launch at that time.

Now, according to sources, the Every minivan will finally be launched September 2024.

While specific details about the Pakistani version of the Every minivan are not yet available, it is expected to feature a 660cc three-cylinder engine producing 48hp and 62Nm of torque. The engine will be paired with either a 5-speed manual or AGS transmission, with the gear lever mounted on the dashboard, as seen in the display unit at PAPS.

The launch of the Suzuki Every is expected to be a welcome addition to the Pakistani market, potentially replicating the success of the 660cc Alto, which replaced the Suzuki Mehran after three decades in 2019.
