WEB DESK: A tragic incident has come to light in Lahore, Punjab, where a three-year-old boy was allegedly beaten to death by his step-father.
The boy’s mother has confessed to staying silent about the abuse in an attempt to salvage her second marriage. She revealed that the deceased child, Arishman, was from her first marriage, and she has two other children from that union.
In a detailed statement to the police, the mother explained that her husband, Khabibur Rehman, is not the biological father of Arishman and harbored animosity towards her children from her previous marriage.

According to the mother’s account, Rehman subjected the child to torture, including biting him. She further stated that Rehman struck Arishman on the head with a stick, leading to the child’s tragic death.
Authorities have confirmed that Khabibur Rehman is currently in custody and will face severe legal consequences.
