A man in Karachi allegedly stabbed his three-month-old pregnant wife on Saturday for not doing household chores.
Abdullah, the prime suspect allegedly stabbed Laiba, a resident of Karachi’s Shah Faisal Colony. He was subsequently arrested by the police. The incident occurred in the same neighbourhood.
According to a post shared by the deceased’s sister, Alisha, the couple had been married for four months. Her sister, Labia was mentally tortured by her husband, Abdullah, and her mother-in-law over household chores. Eventually, they slit her throat and murdered her.
She also added that Laiba’s in-laws are attempting to cover up the incident by claiming her murder was an accident. She further requested the public to share her post and help her seek justice for her sister.
