Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL), following federal government directives, has implemented a structured schedule to manage gas distribution amid rising demand.
Under the new timings, households will receive natural gas three times a day: morning supply from 6:00 am to 9:00 am, midday supply from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm, and evening supply from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm.

These hours are intended to coincide with peak household usage periods to ease access during meal preparation times.
Muhammad Faisal, SNGPL’s Executive Officer (Technical), noted that maintaining high-pressure flow during these specific hours is a priority, though occasional technical issues can affect consistency.
With winter months approaching and gas demand expected to surge, SNGPL is preparing for a more robust implementation to ensure that scheduled supply is reliable across all designated times. However, the effectiveness of this schedule remains a point of contention, as numerous residents have reported frequent shortages and low pressure, even within these allotted hours.
