Sindh CM orders probe into Dadu child marriages
Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah has ordered an investigation into the recent surge in child marriages in Dadu’s Khan Muhammad Mallah village.
Following media reports, the CM directed Hyderabad’s commissioner to submit a detailed report on the marriage of 45 underage girls, many of whom were married off in exchange for money due to poverty.

Moreover, a committee will assess the social, economic, and legal conditions of the affected girls, with a focus on those from flood-hit families. The inquiry aims to address the issue and recommend preventive measures.
