Rs1500 prize bond draw winners announced

WEBDESK (Azaad English): National Savings announced the winners of the Rs1500 prize bond draw on February 17th, at the National Savings Centre in Multan.

The Rs1500 prize bond draw is organised by National Savings once every three months and operates under the central bank of Pakistan.

Investors consider prize bonds to be a safer investment since they do not face any loss. The holder of bonds can win prizes in draws held regularly throughout the year.

According to the official National Savings website, the winners are as follows:

• First prize (Rs3,000,000) – 402432
• Second Prize (Rs1,000,000 each) – 814653, 764165, 543452
• Third Prize (Rs18,500 each) – 1696 winners.

According to the new rules, tax filers will be taxed at 15 per cent of their winnings, while non-filers will have to pay a 30 per cent fee.
