According to an ARY News report, a citizen has filed a lawsuit against the Lahore Electric Supply Company (LESCO) upon receipt of a bill for merely 126 power units.
Moreover, the person filed an appeal with the High Court, alleging that the LESCO officials had declined to rectify the inaccurate power bill.

The petition claims that although the plaintiff always paid his power bills, he was taken aback when he received a charge this month for Rs 150,000 for just 126 units.
In addition, the government has not cooperated with attempts to settle the matter with LESCO on several occasions.
The petition draws attention to the fact that, while the meter readings are written in black and white and might be challenging to see, the power bills are printed in color. The complaint claims that this makes overbilling possible.
