The Pakistan Meteorological Department has forecasted rain across many parts of the country over the next 24 hours.
They expect scattered rain, windstorms, and thundershowers in regions including Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, central and southern Punjab, Sindh, northeast and south Balochistan, Islamabad, Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan, and the Pothohar region.
The weather is influenced by light to moderate monsoon currents from the Arabian Sea affecting central and southern areas, along with a westerly wave impacting the upper parts of the country.

In the past 24 hours, rain, windstorms, and thundershowers were reported in upper KP, Sindh, Punjab, and northeast Balochistan, while other areas experienced hot and humid conditions.
The National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) has warned that heavy rainfall could lead to flash floods and urban flooding in many areas, potentially increasing water levels in local streams and causing urban flooding.
