ISLAMABAD: Qatar Airways has denied reports claiming it shut down its offices in Pakistan. The airline stated its flights and offices are operating as usual.
The clarification followed media claims that the airline had closed offices and call centers across Pakistan, despite flights continuing as scheduled.
The Airline took to X, formally known as Twitter to announced that it offices remain open.
“Qatar Airways flights to and from Pakistan are operating as usual, and our offices remain open,” the airline said on X. “Recent reports about closures are incorrect.”
The media reported that Qatar Airways shut down its offices across Pakistan as part of a strategy to reduce operational costs. The closures, however, will not affect its flight operations, but it will impact sales, administration, and finance departments of the airline.
However, the airline rejected these reports.

Qatar Airways, owned by the State of Qatar, started operations in Pakistan in 1994. Initially flying to Karachi, it later expanded to Lahore, Islamabad, and Peshawar.
