Punjab school education department announces two weekly holidays in schools
The two-day holiday policy will take effect from August 15, when schools reopen.
Moreover, officials stated that the decision for Saturday and Sunday holidays was made to reduce the workload on teachers.

Furthermore, the Punjab School Education Department has also issued school timings. For single-shift schools, the timings will be from 8:00 AM to 1:30 PM, Monday through Thursday.
According to the notification, on Fridays, school hours will be from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
