Reforms have begun at the state television Pakistan Television (PTV), under which all employee perks have been suspended to control increasing expenses.
According to a report by Dawn News, the state TV channel has also banned new tires and repairs for employees’ vehicles.

Additionally, there will be no new appointments for anchors and researchers, and official lunches, dinners, entertainment, and refreshments will also be prohibited.
Furthermore, a decision has been made to terminate all kinds of honoraria and cash allowances, and restrictions have been placed on transfer expenses, travel allowances, daily allowances, and hotel stays.
