The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has announced to postpone its today’s jalsa in Islamabad. The announcement was made ny Azam Swati in the presence of PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar.

According to details, the decision to postpone the public gathering in the federal capital was made following the directives of PTI founder Imran Khan. The PTI officials announced that the jalsa will now be held on September 8.

On the other hand, Deputy Commissioner Islamabad has also granted permission for the September 8 gathering. The No Objection Certificated (NOC) was handed over to the party’s officials.

It is pertinent to mention that yesterday, the district administration denied permission to the political party to hold a rally in the capital city. The decision was notified by the Chief Commissioner of Islamabad.

The notification clarified that the decision to suspend the No Objection Certificate (NOC) issued on July 31 was based on recommendations from the District Intelligence Committee.

A meeting chaired by the Chief Commissioner, attended by the Inspector General of Police and the Deputy Commissioner of Islamabad, reviewed the NOC. Concerns were raised about security due to upcoming events, leading to the suspension of the NOC.
