ISLAMABAD: President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif have strongly condemned the yesterday terrorist attack on security forces in Kalat district of Balochistan.
At least seven security personnel embraced martyrdom after terrorists attacked a security post in the Shah Mardan area of Kalat district on Saturday.
In a statement, President Asif Ali Zardari, condemning the attack, expressed his condolences on shahadat of soldiers in the terrorist attack.
“Terrorists are the enemies of the country and the nation. They want to sabotage the journey of development,” President said.
The President said the people of Balochistan reject the terrorist elements.
In a separate statement, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif lauded the forces for prompt retaliation and killing six terrorists and arresting four after injuring them during the gun battle.
Earlier on Saturday, the ISPR said that seven security personnel were martyred and six terrorists were killed after terrorists attacked a check post in the Johan area of Kalat district of Balohistan.
