Prime Minister (PM) Shehbaz Sharif will visit the United States next month to attend the 79th session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA), which will take place from September 24 to 30.
PM Shehbaz will address UNGA on September 26, according to a provisional list of speakers released by the UN.

This will mark PM Shehbaz’s second speech to the General Assembly, he last addressed it in 2022.
The session, which officially opens on September 10, will convene amid escalating global tensions, with several active conflicts, including those in Palestine and Ukraine.
