ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister (PM) Shehbaz Sharif on Tuesday met with a delegation of international investors led by Gentry Beach from the United States (US) in Islamabad. The discussion focused on Pakistan’s investment potential and economic opportunities.

During the meeting, the PM reaffirmed the government’s commitment to providing a favorable business environment, ensuring efficient implementation, and strengthening institutional support to facilitate foreign investment.

He highlighted Pakistan’s strategic location, skilled workforce, and rapidly growing consumer market as key advantages for global investors.

On the other hand, Gentry Beach praised Pakistan’s economic potential and expressed interest in exploring investment opportunities in various sectors, including mining, renewable energy, infrastructure development, and technology. He also appreciated the government’s investor-friendly policies and showed confidence in the country’s economic growth.

This high-level engagement reflects the government’s active efforts to attract foreign investment, promote sustainable economic growth, and create job opportunities for the people of Pakistan.

The meeting was attended by Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, along with federal ministers Muhammad Aurangzeb, Abdul Aleem Khan, Attaullah Tarar, Minister of State Ali Pervaiz Malik, and Special Assistant Tariq Fatemi.
