Prime Minister (PM) Shehbaz Sharif, along with other political leaders and officials, offered slain Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh’s funeral prayer on Friday.
The funeral prayer was offered after Friday prayers at the Parliament House.

Earlier, the National Assembly unanimously passed a resolution calling Haniyeh’s killing a “deliberate conspiracy to sabotage” Gaza ceasefire efforts and condemning the ongoing Israeli “state oppression and brutality” in Gaza.
Turkey and Pakistan have announced a day of mourning in honour of Haniyeh, while Hamas has called for a “day of furious rage” to coincide with the burial of their top political official.
On Wednesday, the top Hamas leader was assassinated by a bomb which was reportedly smuggled into the Tehran guesthouse where he was staying two months before his arrival.
