The Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) being a constituent unit under Ministry of National Health Services, Regulations & Coordination-NHSR&C, opened vacancies for filling the posts of high profile professionals from major medical disciplines on MP-II scale.

The appointments are initially on three years terms, likely to be extended further up to the policy on MP-II.

PIMS job positions

The two PIMS job positions announced are for Professor of Neonatal Surgery and Professor of Electrophysiology. Check out the details below:

Professor of Neonatal Surgery: A recognised postgraduate qualification, either FCPS, MS, MD, and over 20 years of relevant clinical and teaching experience in neonatal surgery is desirable for the candidates. The Cut-off age limit for application shall be as of the deadline for application cyclical processes and any applicants shall not be above 62 years of age.

Professor of Electrophysiology: Applicants should have a postgraduate degree in the relevant field, which is FCPS, MS, or MD. They must have 20 years of experience in cardiac electrophysiology, including at least 7 years in a supervisory role or as an examiner with the College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan (CPSP). The upper limit is also capped at 62 years.
