WEB DESK: The Institute for Economics and Peace has released its annual report, which ranks countries worldwide based on their peace levels.

In this report, Pakistan has improved by 2 places. According to sources, after this improvement, Pakistan is now ranked 140th out of 163 countries.

Although Pakistan is still among the last 24 countries on the list of peaceful nations, the situation appears to be somewhat better.

The IEP’s rankings consider security, safety, conflicts, and other factors.

Furthermore, in the same list, India is ranked 116th, Saudi Arabia 102nd, China 88th, UAE 53rd, USA 132nd, Bangladesh 93rd, and Sri Lanka 100th.

Moreover, Iceland, with a score of 1.112, has been declared the most peaceful country for the 16th consecutive time, followed by Ireland and Austria.

Switzerland is ranked 6th, Portugal 7th, Denmark 8th, Slovenia 9th, and Malaysia 10th on the same list.

In addition, due to severe human rights violations in Palestine, Israel has dropped 11 places, from 157th to 155th.
