The country is observing Palestine Solidarity Day today (Monday) to express solidarity with the innocent Palestinians facing the worst Israeli brutalities.

Prime Minister (PM) Shehbaz Sharif had taken this decision during his meeting with Pakistan People’s Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and the Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Hafiz Naeem ur Rehman in Islamabad.

The prime minister will also host an All Parties Conference to raise a voice against the ongoing oppression of Palestinians in Gaza and to support the Palestinian brothers and sisters.

Situation in Palestine:

It has been 365 days of unrelenting Israeli bombardment, resulting in one of the deadliest conflicts of the 21st century.

Recently, Israeli strikes on Ibn Rushd school and Al-Aqsa Martyrs Mosque in central Gaza have killed at least 26 Palestinians, officials said, as Israel intensified its bombardment of northern Gaza and southern Beirut in its widening war across the region.

The latest strikes add to the mounting Palestinian death toll in Gaza, which is nearing 42,000, according to the Palestinian Ministry of Health.
