Pakistan launches cross-border strikes: Hassan Ayub

ISLAMABAD: Hassan Ayub, in a tweet, has claimed Pakistan has targeted three to four suicide training centres and terrorist hideouts of the Khawarij insurgents in the Paktika border region.

These centres were training a large number of suicide bombers and terrorists responsible for attacks on Pakistan, and thousands of such operatives have reportedly been trained at these facilities.

According to initial reports, 25 to 30 terrorists have been killed in Pakistan’s strikes, with further heavy losses reported for the Khawarij group.

In four terrorist camps of the Khawarij, which were targeted in Barmal, Paktika, multiple terrorist squads were being prepared for operations inside Pakistan. According to Hassan Ayub, attackers who recently targeted a Pakistani post, resulting in the martyrdom of 16 soldiers, were also hiding in these camps.

The attack was launched at the terrorist training camp of Sher Zaman.
