The Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony has earmarked Rs60 million in scholarships for non-Muslim students during the current fiscal year, a step aimed at supporting minority communities in Pakistan.

According to ministry spokesperson Muhammad Umar Butt, eligible students can apply for the scholarships online via the ministry’s official website. Applicants must submit an income certificate, verification from their educational institution, and details of a personal or joint bank account.

The scholarships will be available to minority students attending government schools and institutions, from the primary level up to professional studies, Butt confirmed. Only non-Muslim students enrolled in government educational institutions are eligible for the scholarships.
