BRUSSELS: A large number of overseas Pakistanis gathered in Brussels for a rally in support of Pakistan’s Army and Chief of Amry Staff General Asim Munir.
The ‘Pakistan Zindabad, Pak Fauj Zindabad’ rally, was held outside the world’s largest transnational parliament. It was part of a series of demonstrations by the Pakistani diaspora across Europe.
Participants, waving green crescent flags, chanted slogans like “Pakistanion niklo, sipah salaaar ki khatir, tera zameer mera zameer, Asim Munir Asim Munir”.
The rally was led by Ali Chaudhry, President of the EU-Pak Friendship Federation Youth Wing Europe, and Pakistani-origin Member of Parliament Chaudhry Muhammad Ali Lohsar. A large number of people of all ages from children to elders participated in the rally. The Pakistan Zindabad, Pak Fauj Zindabad rally was part rallies in support of Pakistan’ Army in Europe.
Key figures included Chaudhry Bashir, Shahid Butt from the Netherlands, and prominent community leaders like Sheikh Majid and Qamar Abbasi.

Organizers emphasised their commitment to opposing any rhetoric against Pakistan and its armed forces.
“We stand firmly with the leadership of the Army,” said one participant. The event displayed large portraits of General Asim Munir.
Chaudhry Pervaiz Iqbal, Chairman of the EU-Pak Friendship Federation, confirmed that the rally outside the EU parliament in Brussels is part of a broader movement. After Brussels, organisers will hold similar rallies in the UK, Australia, and the US.
This demonstration follows earlier rallies in Barcelona and Brescia. The participants reiterated that they would strictly stop the language used against Pakistan and the Pakistani armed forces.
