WEB DESK: In the Tehsil Islamkot area of Tharparkar district, more than 15 peacocks have reportedly died in neighboring villages. The affected areas include Morano village, Seringho, and Kehri Morani, with numerous other peacocks falling ill.

Residents have expressed concern, stating that despite informing the wildlife department through a video, no teams have been dispatched to treat the sick birds. The local community is anxious about the delay in response from the authorities.

Deputy Conservator Mir Ijaz acknowledged the situation, attributing the peacocks’ illness to extreme heat, and a lack of food and water. He assured that a team would soon be sent to provide the necessary treatment for the affected peacocks.
