The Sindh Transport Department has announced the introduction of a new route for the Electric Bus Service in Karachi to better serve citizens.
The new route, named “EV-4,” will link Super Highway with Numaish Chowrangi, covering a distance of 55 kilometers. The launch was officiated by PPP MPAs Raja Abdul Razzaq and Sajid Jokhio.
Sindh Transport Minister Sharjeel Memon stated that the new route will traverse areas including Dumba Goth, Gulshan-e-Maymar, Sohrab Goth, and Al-Asif Square. This will benefit residents in Ayesha Manzil, Lalukhait, and Teen Hatti.

The minister stated that the new electric bus route will enhance local economies, lower travel costs, and ease traffic congestion on roads.
Memon promised that more buses would be added to offer citizens affordable and modern transportation. The Sindh Transport Department also plans to introduce additional routes in the future.
Earlier this month, the department had unveiled three new routes for the Peoples Bus Service in Karachi. Memon announced that the new routes for the Peoples Bus Service include a route from Hawksbay to Tower.
