National Police Martyrs’ Day is being observed across Pakistan today (Sunday) to honor the nation’s brave fighters and show solidarity with their families.
In his message, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif paid tribute to the martyred police officers and personnel, praising their unparalleled sacrifices in the line of duty and their efforts in combating crime.
On Youm-e-Shuhada-e-Police, the Prime Minister reflected on the courage and bravery demonstrated by the police force.
“In the fight against terrorism, the police force had always played a leading role and police personnel laid down their lives to secure and brighten the future of nation,” the PM Office Media Wing quoted the Prime Minister in a press release in Urdu.
