ISLAMABD: The National Database Registration Authority (NADRA) has announced an update regarding the fee for modifying marital status on the Computerized National Identity Card (CNIC).

According to the press release, Pakistani nationals wishing to update their marital status will pay a fee of Rs100 for this unprintable alteration.

Updating marital status is crucial for citizens, especially after marriage, as it enables them to access various benefits, including obtaining a computerized marriage certificate and a B-Form for their children.

To apply for this modification, men must submit specific documents, including the marriage certificate (Nikhahnama) and a copy of their spouse’s CNIC.

It’s important to note that NADRA reserves the right to reject any modification request if the provided information is deemed unsatisfactory.
