The Meteorological Department has issued a new advisory forecasting monsoon showers across multiple regions of the country starting today until July 15.

As per the advisory, eastern parts of Sindh and Balochistan are likely to receive rainfall today and tomorrow, including Karachi and interior Sindh during the same period.

From July 10 to 15, rain is expected to spread to the northern and central regions of Pakistan. The advisory highlights a significant likelihood of rain in various districts of Punjab and Islamabad during this period, with heavy rainfall possible in south Punjab from July 12 to 14.

In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), rain is predicted in several districts from July 11 to 15. Balochistan is also forecasted to experience monsoon rains on July 8, 9, and 12.

The advisory also warns of potential landslides in northern areas due to heavy rainfall from July 12 to 14. Residents in these regions are urged to stay vigilant and take necessary precautions for safety.

The Meteorological Department is closely monitoring the situation and will provide updates as necessary.

Meanwhile, residents of Karachi are advised to remain alert as the city braces for possible rainfall today. According to the Meteorological Department, monsoon winds are expected to bring thunderstorms to Karachi, with light rain likely to start on Monday evening.
