PESHAWAR: Education Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Khan Tarakai revealed the suspension of twelve individuals during a press conference held in Peshawar on Tuesday.

The announcement comes in the wake of reports circulating on social media regarding the matric exam leak in KP, prompting swift action from the provincial authorities.

Addressing the media, the Provincial Education Minister underscored the gravity of the situation and assured stringent measures to tackle the issue. He reiterated that strict enforcement would be deployed in examination halls where complaints of irregularities are received.

Highlighting the efforts to curb malpractice, the Minister highlighted the implementation of the Standardised Local Assessment Bank (SLAB) system, aimed at minimising the possibility of cheating during examinations.

Moreover, he stressed the commitment of his team to closely monitor the examination process across the province, ensuring the integrity of the assessment system.
