Irregularities in the Medical and Dental College Admission Test (MDCAT) have been revealed in the meeting of the Senate Standing Committee on National Health.

The meeting of the Senate Standing Committee on National Health was chaired by Senator Amer Waliuddin Chishti.

Officials said that from next year, PMDC will conduct the Medical and Dental Council’s admission entry test itself, making the new admission test system for 10 years.

On this occasion, the Chairman Committee asked how such students who had barely secured marks in Matriculation and Intermediate, got 197 marks out of 200 in MDCAT. The Chairman Committee issued instructions that future examinations should be IT based to avoid duplication.
