The matric exams for the year 2025 will be held during the holy month of Ramazan.
In this regard, a tenative date sheet has been issued.
According to it, the exams of Class 10th will last for 20 days.
The first exam of the Class 10th will take place on March 4 and the last paper will be on March 24, 2025.
It is pertinent to state that the holy month is to begin from February 28 in Pakistan.
The Class 9th exams will approximately take almost 25 days since the first exam is dated for March 25, 2025. The last exam will occur on April 18.
Students of class 9th will be able to spend their eid holidays under the tension of examinations.
Eid-ul-Fitr holidays are from March 29th to April 3rd, 2025.
Matric exams in Sindh
Similarly, the Sindh Board has decided to conduct matric and intermediate examinations during Ramazan in March and April, respectively.
Under the decision taken in the committee, 9th and 10th examinations will begin from March 15 in Sindh, while intermediate exams will be conducted from April 15 across the province.
Earlier, amid a severe financial crisis, the Boards Committee released the fee schedule for the 2025 annual examinations.
The certificate fee is now Rs1,000, the processing fee Rs870, and a development fund of Rs350 has been introduced. Next year, each student will pay a total fee of Rs4,380 to take the matriculation exam. Previously, this fee was Rs2,700.
