WEB DESK: In a tragic incident in Lahore, a 15-year-old student named Arsalan from Padhana village has taken his own life after receiving low marks in his matric exams. The police report that the student, overwhelmed by despair, jumped from a water tank in an act of desperation.

The incident has prompted a thorough investigation, with police and forensic teams collecting evidence from the scene. This heartbreaking event coincided with the recent announcement of matric exams results by the nine educational boards of Punjab, including the Lahore Board.

In a similar distressing case last year, Ayesha Liaqat, a 15-year-old girl from Baluchak Sahuwala in Sialkot district, also committed suicide after being disheartened by her low scores in the 9th class examination held by the Gujranwala Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE).
