The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Police has launched a significant recruitment initiative, opening up 1,300 positions for various roles within the force.

During a meeting chaired by Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur, it was announced that 1,356 new positions have been established across the southern districts of the province.

The recruitment drive includes positions for 1,200 constables, sub-inspectors, assistant sub-inspectors, and head constables.

Notably, children of police martyrs will be prioritized for assistant sub-inspector roles, with their hiring quota increased from 5% to 12.5%.

In addition to recruitment, KP Police is also undergoing a major procurement drive, with vehicles worth Rs. 802 million already secured. This procurement includes 34 double cabins, 15 single cabins, 30 other single cabins, and 15 motorcycles, aimed at enhancing the department’s operational capacity.

The new recruitments and procurement aim to strengthen the police force’s capability to maintain law and order across the province.
