The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has introduced a 2% “Infrastructure Development Tax” on exports, effective from August 23.
Moreover, this tax applies to exports conducted via both land and air routes from the province.

In addition, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Revenue Authority is responsible for collecting the tax, which was enacted through the Finance Bill approved in the current year’s budget. Exporters and agents have been notified of this new levy by customs officials
