Six on-duty Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) police officers, disguised in civilian clothing, were arrested during Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) protest at D-Chowk.

The officers were found actively participating in attacks against law enforcement agencies alongside protestors.

Moreover, sources confirmed that the arrested officers were equipped with tear gas, slingshots, and stones, which they used in the assaults.

Additionally, five more KP police officers were apprehended near Attock while attempting to flee in police vehicles. Among these, two were from the Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD), and three were from the regular police force. A significant quantity of tear gas shells, slingshots, and stones was recovered from them.
