Islamabad police have arrested the suspect involved in the recent series of bank robberies in the federal capital, DIG Islamabad announced on Monday.
In a press conference, DIG Islamabad Syed Ali Raza said “looted money, arms, ammunition, and the motorcycle used in the incidents were also recovered.” The arrest was made in Sargodha with the use of advanced technology.
“For 5 days, the police teams worked tirelessly, especially the CIA and CTD, using human resources, safe city cameras, digital surveillance, and data analysis to arrest the dacoit,” he added.
Inspector General of Police Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi has also announced the prizes for the police teams.
