An Indian citizen, Badal Singh, has been arrested by Pakistan Punjab police for staying illegally in Mandi Bahauddin, Punjab.

Singh was failed to provide a valid visa or any permit for staying in Pakistan.

During the investigation, he was revealed to belong to Nagla Khatkari area of Aligarh in India.

Subsequently, the police produced the Indian citizen before the local court in Pakistan after registering a case against him.

The judge then sent the Indian national to jail for 14 days on judicial remand.

The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) stopped an attempt to smuggle people at Karachi airport earlier by arresting four people who were linked to an Indian agent.

Recently, Hamida Bano, an Indian woman who has spent her last 22 years in Pakistan, returned to her native country.

Bano married a Karachi-born Pakistani man during her long stay in Pakistan, but he passed away from COVID-19. She had been living with her stepson ever since.

For years, Bano was unable to return to India because she lacked the necessary paperwork. But after years of trying, she eventually gets to see her kids again, ending her heartbreaking wait.

Hamida Bano, originally from Mumbai, arrived in Hyderabad, Pakistan, in 2002. According to her, an agent deceived her with the promise of a job in Dubai but instead brought her to Karachi.
