Imran Khan requested a pair of dumbbells for exercise in jail; however, the jail authorities refused to provide them, stating it was against the jail manual.

During the hearing of the £190 million reference, two applications were submitted on behalf of the PTI founder. The applications were filed by PTI founder’s lawyer, Khalid Yousaf Chaudhry.

One application was regarding the provision of a pair of dumbbells for exercise, while the other was about obtaining the PTI founder’s signature on a letter for a bank statement.

In addition, the court directed the jail authorities to act according to the jail manual on both applications.

In response, the jail authorities refused the provision of dumbbells, citing it as against the jail manual, and also withheld the bank statement documents.
