The Islamabad district administration has intensified its crackdown on vehicles using tinted windows, fancy number plates, and illegal flashlights.
A ban has been imposed on the sale and purchase of tinted window papers and non-standard number plates in the federal capital.
A notification issued by Additional Deputy Commissioner East, Islamabad, Maheen Baloch, outlined the restrictions. It specifically prohibits the sale and purchase of flashers and High-Intensity Discharge (HID) lights across the city.

The notification also reiterated that the sale of tinted window papers and fancy number plates is illegal.
The use of tinted windows has been banned in Islamabad since March 31, 2013, and no No Objection Certificate (NOC) has been issued by the Ministry of Interior for any vehicle.
The authorities have warned that those violating these regulations will face strict legal action. Citizens are encouraged to cooperate in making the city safer.
