LAHORE: In a disturbing incident in Phoolnagar, Kasur, police has apprehended a suspect accused of brutally severing his wife’s nose and ears. The swift action follows the prompt registration of a case by Kasur Police upon receiving reports of the horrific attack.

According to the Punjab Police, Disrcit Police Officer (DPO) Kasur Tariq Aziz confirmed that immediate steps were taken to ensure the victim’s safety, including her prompt transfer to a hospital for medical treatment. The police team wasted no time in apprehending two suspects, including the primary accused, Latif. Efforts are ongoing to locate and apprehend a third female accomplice involved in the assault.
Under the directives of IG Punjab, DSP Patoki visited the victim to assess her condition and assure her of swift justice.
