Under the PHATA Ordinance 2002, beneficiaries of the Punjab Housing and Town Planning Agency (PHATA) will be provided with 3- and 5-marla houses within private housing schemes.
Under this program, PHATA beneficiaries will have the option to make payments over a five-year period after acquiring a home in a private scheme. To reduce housing costs, the Punjab government will offer subsidies.

According to the tentative plan, approximately 70,000 plot owners in both urban and rural areas will be eligible for these interest-free loans.
