WEB DESK: The Ministry of Religious Affairs has announced that only two days remain to submit applications under the government Hajj scheme. According to the ministry’s spokesperson, designated banks will continue accepting applications on Monday and Tuesday.
A total of more than seventy-two thousand applications have been submitted by now. The applicants have the option to join family members performing Hajj this year.
According to the spokesperson, the Hajj quota for Pakistan for the year 2024 will be 179,210 pilgrims. Under the regular scheme, applicants can apply with a deposit of Rs200,000. The second installment of Rs400,000 and the remaining amount will have to be paid by February 10, 2024.
It asked those who are going to submit their applications to do so in time so that they can be a part of this pilgrimage this year.
