Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu, recently visited the National Defence University, Islamabad, where he addressed the course participants.
Upon his arrival, Air Chief Marshal Sidhu was welcomed by Lieutenant General Asif Ghafoor, President of National Defence University, Islamabad, and received a warm reception from the students.

During his address, the Air Chief commended the University for its high-quality academic environment and training standards.

In addition, he acknowledged the Pakistan Air Force’s awareness of regional security challenges and its active pursuit of operational development amidst evolving modern warfare dynamics.

Moreover, the Air Chief expressed confidence in the Armed Forces’ combat readiness and emphasised their unwavering commitment to defending national sovereignty. Highlighting cohesive leadership efforts, he detailed initiatives aimed at enhancing human resources, training capabilities, and fostering indigenous capabilities to meet evolving battlefield demands.

Additionally, he stated that the rapid integration of cutting-edge technologies and the PAF’s vision to evolve into a Next Generation Air Force highlighted advancements in Cyber and Space domains for ensuring strong national defense.
