ISLAMABAD: The Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony on Tuesday released the final Hajj package cost for the long and short pilgrims for the year 2025.
According to the statement issued by the ministry’s spokesperson, the final cost of the long Hajj has been set at Rs 1,075,000, while the short Hajj package will cost Rs 1,150,000.
Furthermore, it said that the third installment of Hajj dues would be received from February 1-10, 2025.
“Few seats to the government Hajj scheme are still available,” the ministry said, adding that the applications would be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis until January 30.
The spokesperson further said that new applications would be taken only for the long Hajj package as booking for the short Hajj package had already been completed.
“The booking process for private Hajj pilgrims would continue till the end of this month,” it added.
The development came days after Pakistan and Saudi Arabia signed the annual Hajj 2025 agreement to provide the best facilities to Pakistani pilgrims.
The agreement was signed by the Federal Minister for Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony Chaudhry Salik Hussain and the Saudi Minister of Hajj and Umrah Dr. Tawfiq bin Fawzan al-Rabiah.
As per the agreement, 179,210 Pakistani pilgrims will perform Hajj this year. Under the agreement, special accommodation will be offered to Pakistani pilgrims in Mina at reduced rates.
The Saudi Minister of Hajj and Umra Dr. Tawfiq bin Fawzan al-Rabiah assured to provide all possible support for better facilities for Pakistani pilgrims.
