The Punjab Excise, Taxation, and Narcotics Control Department has launched a virtual registration card service, allowing vehicle owners to download an electronic registration card for their cars, motorcycles, and other vehicles.
This initiative is designed to simplify the process of carrying and presenting registration cards during traffic stops, reducing the need for physical cards and avoiding potential fines for not having them on hand.
Acknowledging that people often forget to carry physical registration cards, the department has introduced an online service where vehicle owners can download the e-registration card directly to their mobile phones.
