The price of a 20 kg bag of flour in Lahore has been reduced further by Rs. 200, according to Chairman of the Flour Mills Association, Asim Raza.
Talking to a private news channel on Wednesday, Asim Raza stated that following the Rs. 200 reduction in the price, a 20 kg bag of flour now costs Rs. 2,000. He added that a few weeks ago, a 20 kg flour bag was being sold at Rs. 2,800.
The Chairman of the Flour Mills Association attributed the reduction in flour prices to the decrease in the price of wheat. He further stated that the flour mills have begun buying wheat from the farmers. Furthermore, Asim Raza also extended their support to the farmers of Punjab.
