The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has established a seven-member team to investigate disinformation spread regarding an alleged incident of misconduct involving a student at a Punjab College Lahore, Gulberg campus.
The team will look into the false information circulating about the case.
Disinformation Probe Initiated by FIA
According to an FIA spokesperson, the inquiry team, led by a Deputy Director, has begun investigations into the disinformation campaign. The investigation follows a formal request from the principal of the Punjab College.
The FIA has affirmed its commitment to identifying and holding accountable those responsible for spreading false information. The spokesperson highlighted that all available resources will be utilised to ensure the disinformation perpetrators are brought to justice.
