According to FBR, the reporting procedure and details are available on the FBR website.

Separately, the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has issued a notification allowing foreign tourists to temporarily import vehicles into Pakistan for up to three months without customs duties.

This initiative aims to facilitate foreign travelers and promote tourism in the country, for the betterment of the socio-economic condition of Pakistan.

Tourists can bring vehicles under a carnet-de-passage or bank guarantee, as per the FBR report. Upon arrival, customs officers at entry points may release the vehicles without requiring duty payments. However, this will only be legitimate when the tourists declare that they will not transfer ownership in Pakistan
